I'm having a brain fart that has lasted way too long.
Can anyone please tell me what is the part name where the fuel filter screws into.
It's the gray manifold looking thing.

fuel filter housing? all the manf. most likely call it something different than the obvious name.

just a heads up, I made a mistake and sent you a link for the model LX 885, not the 985 you have, odds are parts are the same, but on the messick's site you can enter the correct model and get same info
