yes mine has the drain plug to but no fill plugI thought my 160 has a plug on the side of that plate? I know it has a drain plug at the front on the bottom. There must be a level plug somewhere near there.

it is possible that it's like my665 and the fill fittings are inside under the seat. on it there is a little gooseneck on top of each gear case so I just fill them till I see fluid, it takes 80-90 also.yes mine has the drain plug to but no fill plug
On a LS180 there is a pipe plug in the chain-case ahead of the side cover plate. The RH and LH cases are separate from each other. It will either be a 3/8" hex or 3/8" square to remove the plug. The oil should be level to the bottom of that hole with the plug removed. They hold somewhere around 2 - 2 1/2 gallons of 80W90 gear oil. Make sure the oil is clean, this oil is common with the reduction drive gearboxes under the seat. There are also drain plugs in the bottom of the chain case front and rear, they may not stand right out as they are usually wore down from the bottom of the machine scraping on the ground over time. These take a 5/16" hex to remove, but usually need to be drilled and removed w/ an extractor and then replaced.it is possible that it's like my665 and the fill fittings are inside under the seat. on it there is a little gooseneck on top of each gear case so I just fill them till I see fluid, it takes 80-90 also.
