Hi all, new to the group as well as being a skid steer owner. I was hoping for any suggestions on what the problem may be with the right hand drive on my 1845. When I attempt to move I can tell it tries to go but it does not. I have switched the drive motors and it does not follow the drive motor. Also I can move the unit using the left drive and I here a chattering from the right drive/chain compartment. Not sure if relevant but maybe. Any insight would be great. I just hope it is not the pump. Thanks

Could be a broken chain. Pull the covers and inspect for damage. The Cs have a chain to each wheel and a chain to the reduction drive. If everything is intact operate the machine with the covers off and have a helper verify everything is in order. If you suspect the pump check the safety bypass valves for the hydro and put some guages on to verify pressures.

I did look at the chains and they seem to be tight. At least on the large sprockets. Any idea what the pressure should be at if I need to check pressure. I will check chains while operating before looking at pressure. Thanks for the info.

Pressure at the motor should reach upto 5,000 PSI. Its possible a relief in the pump is open, or the rotating group may be damaged. As the problem did not move, it will be something in the pump.

if it doesnt follow the motor and the left side works both times and the right has a problem.check to make sure the center bearing chain sprocket isnt seized and welded up.. it may not have been greased.. then jack up the right side and make sure each wheel moves back and fort till the chain slacks.. rule out a welded wheel bearing.. id look close at the chains and make sure nothing is stuck in there.. fwiw
