Oil filter

HI, I use an NAPA Gold filter for the engine oil for my 1993 743B. I think they are made by Wix. The part # is 1068 for the napa one. I also use there hydraulic, air and fuel filters.

Depending on your commercial allegiances, you can cross reference the NAPA gold filter with the ST16 Super Tech filter from WalMart or the WIX 51068 for quite a bit more money. For 2.94, you can get a good working Walmart filter that has worked swell for me. Some folks might laugh or smirk at the mere mention of the Walmart filter, but they are great filters and have worked well on my vehicles over the years. Sam Walton weren't no dope, ya know. WalMart oils are excellent too, and the price is right. Y'all come, ya hear?

it's my understanding that there are only 4 or 5 filter manufacturers in the us. wix and napa filters roll off the same assembly line i believe. i went to my local napa store and asked about hydro filter for an s220 they had a crossover and i bought it . it was pricey, almost 60$, when i pulled the original filter from the machine i could tell they came from the same assembly line ...they weren't close, they were the same. i assume bobcat contracted with the wix factory for filters...i called the dealer to price the same filter and they were less than napa.????? my local dealer isn't know for their great prices and my napa dealer doesn't seem interested in keeping my business either!!! I found a place online fleetfilter.com they have prices online that are half of what my local napa store quoted me oil, air, hydro all of them half price ...and another 10% off orders over 150$. between an s220 a 331 a dump truck and a pickup truck i have no trouble making 150$ and the discount covers the shipping, i order ahead and put them on the shelf.

www.Filter1.com is another good one. They base your discount on the size of your fleet and revisit your purchases anually. All Wix products. Online X reference. Place to list your equipment and filters to speed future orders.
Free freight in lower 48, on $50 or 6+ filter orders. Team up with a bud or two. They set up your account based on the equipment list, then you can check prices and order online or on the phone.
