I need a new light switch for my 743. Is this strictly a Bobcat only part or is there more universal switch that will work. I tried my local NAPA store, but we couldn't see anything in the catalog that matched the blade pattern needed to couple with the pigtail plug. As always, thanks for looking and all of the help.

Likely you won't find one that will just plug in at anyplace but Bobcat. (check a couplerdealers if you can, as prices vary for the same part, but a swich should not be too much anyway) If your a bit handy with wiring, any swtch could be adapted to the ask though.

I agree, finding the exact one will be hard but you could do it with a generic rotary switch if you take the time to work out what goes where. I re-wired mine after i pulled the harness out so it has to be pretty easy to work out if i did it
You can then decide what you want the switch to turn on at different points. I made mine do gauges first click, second was dash and front lights 3rd was dash, front and rear. Not sure what it was from factory.
