Hello, I have a great 743 that has been and still is a very good machine. I am rewiring the whole system. I have the wiring diagrams and have over the years removed the glow plug wires from the ignition switch to a separate recoil toggle. I am looking at the back of this ignition switch and I see letters I think are self explanatory but I wanted to confirm because I want to order a new switch and not make sure it will match up.
The letters are as follows:
B - battery - to fuse - to start solenoid power in
ST- starter - to start solenoid to relay on starter
I - ignition - switched power to alternator - to voltmeter
I AM THINKING THIS MAY BE ACCESSORY ON OTHER SWITCHES
SO - I have no idea what it means - but it goes to the glow plug relay.
I AM ASSUMING THAT SINCE THIS IS A RECOIL OPTION ON YHE SWITCH, THAT THIS WOULD BE A SPECIAL OPTION SWITCH WHICH I DO NOT FIND ON A QUICK SEARCH FOR BOBCAT 743 switches.
Let me know if this is correct and if anyone has a part number and if the alternator goes to an accessory portion of a standard switch. I'm thinking it goes to a switched power to act as a field wire to energize the alternator prior to starting.
