Snow removal in the parking lot and misc odd things around my house, you know the kind of stuff most everyone else would use a shovel and a wheelbarrow for
LOL - I've used that exact line before. Shovels and wheelbarrows are for the birds (although I do still have them and use them from time to time)

Well she's done! Started right up. Only had to make 1 trip to the hardware store for missing bolts!
Looks good but now the problem is since it is now clean I've discovered a couple small leaks, both on the lift cylinders, one side coming from the spanner nut , the other I can't quite tell it is at the other end and I'm not sure of it is at the hose connection or on some part of the rigid tube/hose that runs along the cylinder from the front, not sure the best way to attack either of them yet without making a huge mess

Looks great! Let us know what you get for it when you sell, just for curiositys sake. Do you plan to paint the bucket?

Does look pretty, but Mike is right, the bucket kinda sticks out. Even if you were to wire brush it a bit and brush paint it with some black rust paint, she wouldn't look bad. That's what I do with mine from time to time.

On my machines, I use a cupped wire wheel on an angle grinder, followed up with gloss black paint applied with a small paint roller. Did my 873 bucket a few weeks ago, looks like new.

Wow, that looks as nice as Mike's 743. Painting the bucket would likely be a huge plus and I'll bet it doesn't stay for sale long (like Mike's 743). Thanks for the pictures.

She's a thing of beauty now. Shame about the for sale sign, but that is a $1000 paint job on that bucket!!
That bucket paint job is unreal. How did you prep it, what did you paint it with and how long did it take? It looks too nice to sell now, looks like it needs to be in a Bobcat museum somewhere.

Cell phone pics are great, they don't show a lot of detail. Prep work included using a hand wire brush to remove any dirt and loose rust then a 2 coat spray job with an industial rustoleum made for direct to metal applications, 3700 series. This is stuff you can't just get in the local hardware store or Home depot. My finsih supplier for the laquers I use has started to carry the line so I gave it a try. It is kind of thick so it did not spray as well as other material in my equiptment but is an acrylic enamel so it is reduced and cleaned up with water and dries in 1-2 hours so not too bad to use.
