Hey guys I'm new to this but would love to avoid a repair man. Its a 753 and it just won't move. Almost like the brake is on. Starts fine, then when you push the green operator button it beeps a few times (it didn't before) and won't move. The bucket does still work though. The only thing I noticed is the traction light blinks. It appears to blink 6 times. I've tried searching, but the search function doesn't seem to cooperate. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

It describes how to remove the brake to get you running again, you need to find out what the 6 flashes mean, a bad pb solinoid or relay are the most common

My manual says 6 flashes on the traction light means the traction lock pull coil circuit is shorted to ground. Ether the coil has gone bad or some wiring has been rubbed bare. Try disconnecting the wires to the coil and see if it changes the number of flashes. If the the coil is bad it should flash 4 times saying the circuit is open, if it still fashes 6 times a wire is grounded out somewhere.

Ok, where would the traction lock pull coil circuit be? From what I could find the track lock/park brake solenoid could be bad? Is that the same as the pull coil circuit? I'm trying to relay info to the guys working on it, they pulled the solenoid today and seem to think thats it. But knowing where the pull coil circuit is would probably be helpful. Thanks guys

Yes the solenoid is the pull and hold coil for the traction lock. On mine there are three wires in circuit to the plug. The red goes to the BCIS connector, the black and white go to where your relays are. If you check for a shorted wire only the black should go to ground. All this is for my 453 so without seeing the wiring diagram for yours I can't say its exactly the same colors.

Thanks guys. They replaced the solenoid today and everything seems to be just fine. I really do appreciate forums.
