I've owned a BUNCH of skid loaders, of almost every brand made, but when I bought a 7753 one time in the past I had one heck of a time selling it. So what is it with the 7753 Bobcat? Are they any good, or is there some quirk I don't know about that no one likes? Or was my luck just down when I owned the one I mentioned?? And why did they paint the boom gray? Thanks

The 7753 was Bobcat's first vertical lift machine, hence why the boom is grey. Is there really a huge difference between a 7753 and a 773 C-series? We have one of those, and it has been a great machine. The boom design is not the greatest for visibility, but the machine itself is a workhorse.

So is known to be the turd of Bobcats and hard to sell, or will anyone looking for a Bobcat be interested.... if you know what i mean? If I buy it I'm going to paint the boom if I can get it in out of this chilly weather.

That's a good question, i don't believe many people would know it was their first verical lift machine, so it does seem strange that they are so hard to sell. Possibly that being the first verical lift, the arms look different to what they have now, before they were refined.

same same. higher dump height who wouldn't want that. 763 773. been taken care of snatch it up dying breed. seen turn the hr meter back to zero that's 10.000 hrs by the way. granted its nice to have cab heat air and suspension seat. but where the bkt hits the dirt. if starts and runs (every time) be nice to have in the barn, maybe not the jobsite but old reliable will still get up a 5am and put in ten. just change the fluids and filters every hundred and give some love.
