TL8 display

Hello Everyone. I have a new to me 2014 TL8 and the display is almost black making it almost impossible to see the hours and absolutely impossible to see codes and other things. Has anyone had the screen replaced or figured out another solution? Thanks for your help in advance.

L, new to me 2017 has no visible screen at all. I learned last night, putting a track back on the front wheel, that I can see the screen in the dark. It acts like there the contrast is turned all the way down. Not sure what failed but clearly need to replace the screen. Holler if you figure anything out and I'll do the same.
