I was wondering what percentage of earnings I should save for stuff that breaks. I have a 753

I would say whatever your budget can afford to set aside,parts can be expensive(especially the motor),if it was me maybe between $3000 to $5000(or more depending who else chimes in). It's good that you are planning on something like this,you never know when something pops up that you have to pay for.
