Serial Numbers for M-500, M-600 & M-610

Bobcat is not very forthcoming with information on Serial Numbers on their machines. They have always told me the information is "proprietary". They will give you the information on a serial number if you request that information in writing. I have been working on compiling numbers for a couple of years just so I have some idea where number breaks are but Bobcat gets tired of me asking for information all the time. I'm wondering if any of you with a 500, 600 or 610 that can read the serial number and especially if you know the year would share that information so we would have some idea of the year and model for folks who ask. I currently have about 70 numbers with model but have maybe 20 percent of the actual year made……any help would be great.

I have both a M500 and M610- I know the M500 is a 1967 model (I had called the Bobcat dealer and had them tell me for the serial number), so when I find it will send to you. I don't know the year for my M610 but can send you the serial number for that as well.

Thanks Tiger…..and thanks to the guys that have sent them to me by E-mail. I'm up to about 80 numbers now with dates ranging from 1973 to 1981 in the 610…….. fewer in the 600 & 500 but I'm getting there. Thanks again for the help guys.
