2014 S570 is showing a code (Code E001485-11 ECU Main Relay Fault) on the information display and it has the yellow ! with the circle on the display lit up . The machine is running fine and it starts up and has not shut down but the error comes and goes. The guy I bought it from said it started when he put a new battery in the machine. Is this a battery issue or is the main ECU relay having a problem - I would think it wouldn't run if the main ECU relay was sick but hard telling not knowing. Any help would be appreciated.

What battery you have in there? CCA??
Could you take a picture of the battery.

20250602_104417.jpg The existing battery looks smaller than the tray. The guy I bought it from said he replaced the battery and the !warning light was something to do with replacement battery. It starts the machine fine but looks small judging by the tray. Thanks for your good help.............Jon

The physical size of the battery doesn't really matter. It's the cold cranking amps (CCA) and the reserve capacity (RC).

First thing I would do is clean and check all of the battery connections and grounding points. Also look for any problems with the battery cables such as swelling under the insulation. You can also take the battery into an auto parts store and have it bench tested.

Correct, even a battery which cranks the machine does not mean that the battery is good.
I would at least go for a 850 CCA and up battery, yours look like a 600 CCA battery and these starter pull a lot of juice out of these batteries.
After that, how @brdgbldr said, clean all connections and specially the terminals and the cables.
