RPM check on 1835C

I have the service manuals that just show component overhauls but no real service or adjustment information. I would like to check the high and low rpm but don't know where to check it at. Any help would be appreciated.

Well a cheap and inexpensive way would be to buy a laser rpm tach from ebay amazon or china

I've been using this on for years now great for the field

I have one like you suggest and will see if I can get a reading at the crank pulley.
