Hello, I have an older model Mustang skid steer I bought at an auction. The thing has been painted over and right now i can not tell you the model. But my question is does the lug pattern match any other brands? I have solid tires and rims and I want to change them out to something better for outside. This was a factory machine and the tires were on concrete. (They dont do well outside!!) Also and advice on where to buy rims would be great! Thanks

If you measure your bolt pattern, you should be able to go to a Bobcat dealer and identify what rims you need. I believe the old smaller Mustangs used a 15"- 5 bolt rim and would match up to some truck/car tire rims. The Mustang 1200 that I have has a 15", 6 bolt rim for a 7.50x15 tire. You can also get 16.5" - 6 bolt rims that have the sa+me bolt pattern as were used on older Bobcats. I've got 7.50x15" solid fork lift tires on mine and they are not very good outside. I put car chains on the front tires and now I can go pretty much anywhere I want. I'm looking for the older Bobcat tires/rims also so that I have better floatation in sand.

Depending on model, it may also match the CASE series, like 1830 or 1840. I'm looking into that myself. My 2040 has a 6 bolt/6" center patterm with an inside hole of about 4 7/8 inch. It all boils down to measuring it, and checking with other dealers.
