OK I have a question for those with more experience than me I am looking to have a new cutting edge installed on a 72 inch wide skid steer bucket my questions are 1, how important is having an angled/beveled cutting edge, as I found some AR 400 steel, cut to the size I need, but doesn't have a beveled/angled edge so its just cut at a flush flat edge? Next how much better is AR 400 over say hardened 10565 steel as I also found a 1055 edge(beveled/angled edge) for the same price as the AR 400 above? is it worth having the beveled edge over the harder steel of the AR 400? this bucket will; be used mostly for plowing snow on a dirt gravel and partially paved(rough paved drive ways, a sin, pavement was dumped and spread with a bucket, NOT roller, so its very uneven and rough!) and to load and move some top soil screenings, rocks up to Basketball size and or slightly larger at times mixed in! will NOT see a ton of use, maybe about 40 hours a YR of use in all? does the beveled/angled edge make that big of a difference?? or will just a plain jane edge be OK? thanks in advamce
