Question on NH cab doors on older machines.

I just picked up a cab door for my old L-785 skidsteer, but I didnt get any of the blocking plates that bolt onto the skidsteer. This is a door that comes to a point at the top. I looked in the parts diagram and it shows that there is a plate that bolts onto each side of the skidsteer. One plate has the hinge for the door, and the other is where the door latches. Shouldnt there also be a plate that bolts on at the top of the opening in the center? The parts diagrams dont show anything. Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks
