NH LS170

I have a1999LS170 that I am having an electrical issue with. When I get in the cab the panel lights are on. As soon as I turn the key all power goes out.
I have a new battery in it and I checked for lose wires and checked the fuses.
Does anyone have any ideas about what the problem might be?

Maybe your ignition switch is worn out and shorting.
