NH L-785 Hydraulics

I have an older L-785. Hydraulics are slow, shakey, and too weak to use on the front end. Drive motors are fine. Changed the canister-filter and hyd. fluid level is full. Is there an in-line screen filter somewhere I am missing? Worst case -- was run low on fluid, so I may need to replace the pump. How do you get to it the easiest way?

If its just lift and tilt that are weak and slow it could be the relief valve or your hydraulic pump is worn out.
Is your oil foamy? foamy oil can be caused by a plugged filter. Does it make weird noises while trying to lift?

Remove the seat. Follow the hydraulic pump inlet hose to the verticle standpipe. Remove the cap from the standpipe and you will see the screen in it. Remove it and clean it.

That fixed it!! I can't believe it really worked. I was sure I was in it for a pump! Thanks!!
