Need help with 751 Thumb controls

right lever auxiliary controls will work when thumb switch pushed to the right but won't when pushed left. I tested the system by switching out the hoses. Grapple will either stay open or closed depending on which hose is being activated by the switch's right side. any suggestions before I buy a new rocker switch? thanks,

I'd swap the coils on the control block. If it still works, you probably have a bad stem.
If you swap coils and connectors it rules out the coils. If you leave the coils connected to the cables and swap them, the function should be reversed, if it still functions but the opposite switch operates the coil its the stem and not the thumb switch.
Does that make sense?
