I have a 98 751 and have a hydraulic leak that i have to fix quick. I am going to try and describe where it is leaking and hopefully some body can tell me how to fix this with out a lot of trouble. Ok, when you lift the cab up and are looking under the cab from the front toward the rear. On the left side, there is a hyd. block or manifold of some sorts that have some hyd. fittings on it. On the left back side of this towards the bottom, there are two plunger looking things that are suppose to have plastic covers over them. The plunger looking one on the top has a cover kinda like a small paint can top and the one under it is longer and has a rounder, more bullet shape cover. The one on the bottom( bullet shape) is leaking bad. I have got to get this thing fixed real quick. Can somebody please tell me what this is and how i can repair it? Thank you very much

Probably the hydraulic control valve. The spool seals go bad and leak. You can buy the kit from Bobcat or go to your local hydraulic supply to hopefully match up the originals. It is a time-consuming job but has been discussed elsewhere on this forum.

It does sound like the spool seals.
Not the easiest things to access to work on though, ensure you don't put any force on them from side to side while removing them. If you bend it, it will bind in the housing.
A seal kit is about $50 from memory, the hard bit is installing them.

Which one are the spool seals? Can these be taken off while it is on the machine or do i need to remove the control valve off of the machine and then work on it? Does any body happen to have a diagram off the control valve?

Thanks for the help. It was the spool seals. That was an easy fix. All i did was take the two bolts out of each one of the spools and disconnect the other end where it connects to the pedals and pushed the spools right out the other side. I did have to take the fuel filler hose off and loosen a hydraulic fitting and they came right out. I bought the seal kits from the dealer for $28.00 ea. Thanks again for the help
