Afternoon,
I've had this Frankenstein M600/610?? for 5 or 6 years, it starts, runs & function for what it is... Anyway, it appears the charging system has given up the ghost. Voltage never comes up & replaced the ammeter to just for fun to confirm. So, I need some help confirming what engine this has had transplanted (no tags I could find)... I know it's not stock from all the hacking to the front shroud & external fuel tank etc.
It has what I believe is an external generator/alternator as part of the distributor drive? Hoping to get that working again as mounting an external alternator is also going to be a major PIA as the front is already being used to drive a hydraulic pump.
