Glow plugs work, relay doesnt. If I jump power to the relay it activates but I cannot trace a problem. Fuses good, count down good
To add to my previous post. The LS170 used two different styles of instrument panels. The earlier panel used the ltbl\y wire in the #2 slot in the instrument panel connector. If you have a later LS170, the one you have to push the button on the panel to activate the hydraulic valve solenoids, the wire color is white and in slot 7 of the connector. If you are jumping power to the small terminal to activate the relay then you need to check the wire from the relay to the instrument panel for continuity. The wire color should be ltbl\y. If the wire is good than the instrument panel is at fault.
No push button, although there is a plug under the seat that is not being used that is wired in with the plug for the seat sensor. Looks like someone replaced the seat belt switch cuz there is an old switch just laying there unplugged. Thanks for the info, I'll go chase some more wires. Oh, its a 2000 modelTo add to my previous post. The LS170 used two different styles of instrument panels. The earlier panel used the ltbl\y wire in the #2 slot in the instrument panel connector.
