I just bought a M600. I'm wanting to do a full tune up on it. I have a service manual, however it doesn't give me the info I need. I found the spark gap, points gap, and things like that, but it doesn't tell me brand or part #s. Currently it has two different model Champion spark plugs, no air filter or air filter housing. And it looks like someone "rednecked" the carburetor/governor with additional springs. To get new correct size springs would bobcat dealer know/have them or better off going to napa? I would like to return it so it at atleast looks like it should. Since I have a service manual, is there a parts catalog? In a nutshell. 1. Correct plugs size/brand 2. Air filter # 3. Hydro filter # 4. Oil filter # 5. Carburetor springs 6. Parts catalog Thanks, Jeremy

Hey Oneofakind781,
Welcome to the forum, I see this is your first post.
You may have better luck searching for info for the engine rather than for the entire machine. Your M600 is powered by a Wisconsin VF4D, which was used in many different applications. Try Googling a parts list and tune up information for the engine.
Most Bobcat dealers are not really interested in supporting these old machines, so they likely won't be of much use. I was shocked to see an old M600D in the shop at the local dealer a couple of weeks back. The tech was pulling his hair out as even they didn't have listings for the 2-cyl Deutz that powered this machine.
Consider yourself lucky that your machine is gas powered.
Cheers,
SR

Thanks. We only have internet on my phone so searching is a pain. That site was helpful. I went to my local parts store and he was able to look up the engine and we found points, cap, distributor ect in stock. No luck on air filter and housing, might just have to make one. Thanks again.

The air cleaner from Bobcat is Part #6518192.......I have bought them direct from Donaldson but I don't remember the number. You can get the filter from NAPA....#6360. You'll also need the hose (Bobcat Part #6502957 [$20.00]) and the "horn" (Bobcat Part #6516394 [last one I bought...gulp...$223.00]) Careful with that "horn".....very easy to break if you over tighten.

You'll need a parts manual for the carb/governor linkage, there's a boatload of tiny parts for that......try E-bay or Bobcat. Hydro filter at Napa is Part #1567 (wear old clothes for that job). I did find the Air Cleaner info after all.......Donaldson Corp-Cyclopac Dry Air:Model FWG 05-2528. Think I bought a G 052510 ($65.00), Mounting Bands #P002348 ($10.00), Cap #x002018 ($20.00)......this unit uses a Napa filter #2276

Thanks a bunch, those part numbers will help tremendously. Ouch on the $223 horn. I tore into it a little but yesterday, after it died and I couldn't get it started again, partially because a dead battery, but then after a charge it would crank then backfire. I got parts ordered, BWD cap #C110, rotor #D184, points #A81, & condenser #G124, all are Borg Warner parts from O' Reilly's. As far as having two different type of plugs, champion D16 & D21, I think I'm going with the D16, it has a larger electrode thats the only difference we could find on those plugs. I'll google the Donaldson filters and get them ordered. As far as the parts manual, looks like they are around $100 on ebay....

Just a thought on the air cleaner: Wisconsin V4's were used in a pile of different applications over the years, including other skidsteers, swathers, combines, balers, etc. If you have an equipment wrecking yard near by, or a dealer that has a pile of "gems" sitting behind his shop may be you can come up with something used. Some times, a drive through the country will turn up a piece of equipment sitting in a fence bottom that the owner sometimes will let you pillage.
It might end up being a bit of a frankenstien, but still better than no air cleaner.
Yup, fat fingered the G instead of the F. Good catch.
Cheers,
SR

Thanks for the help. I emailed that guy on ebay and it is only the electric version, does not support gas or lp models. I posted a new thread on a governor. My new problem.
