M 700 Drive chain

So I ended up jerking my M 700 and the right side Wheels stopped moving. So we pulled the machine up to the garage and got the side cover off and as i thought the drive chain broke. I think I will replace both sides considering I do not know what this machine has done before me and it is as old as it is. So my questions are? 1) can any one tell me the chain size? 2 ) Is there any chain brand and or type that any one would recommend. This is the smaller of the two chains. Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks Happy ( Not so today )

The old chain should have the size stamped on the links. If you can't read it then you can measure it and find the size by comparing it to the sizes listed here http://www.mcmaster.com/#about-roller-chain/=d0mbjd
Try to avoid buying cheap asian import chain as I've heard of failures.

Thanks Old Machinist I did not have a chance to to take a do look at the chain. Holiday weakened and a lot of places to go to. I will take a good look and see what I can find. Happy
