I have a LS160. In the Spring it was so stuck in the mud that as we tried to get it out it endedup with the front in the air and the back end (engine compartment) in the mud. After we got it out we checked for water in engine but found none. Did oil change, replaced belt and it was fine. Yesterday the hydraulic pressure alarm started going off. Temperature seems fine - around 80-90 degrees. I was wondering if that check valve just behind radiator could have been damaged by the mud. Thanks

It could be as simple as a bad sender or broken wire from the water in the mud causing it to corrode? If you put a pressure gauge into the sender hole, check what pressure you are getting.

It is probably the pressure sender at the hydraulic filter mounting base. Remove the right engine side panel and look at the filter base, you will see a pressure sender with two wires going to it. Common failure, just replace it.
