Looking for some help with my new holland LS 250 gas model. last time I used it, started bogging down when moving, push the controls full forward and starts to dye out real quick and will fill like it will stall out, let off the levers and it recovers. when using the boom it doesnot happen only when driving it boggs down. changed the hyd filter and oil filter and gas filter and plugs and air filter. any thoughts on what to checkout next.

Could be a govenor problem, could be fuel pressure. Pushing the levers full forward is the equivalent of shifting the machine into high gear. If you want more pushing power you only shove the steering sticks ahead a little, not a lot.
I have had renters think you get more power by pushing the lever further but this in not the case.
Does it run smooth? idle ok or is it rough and sputtering?
If the engine is truly running poorly you can try a can of gas on the roof and let it gravity feed to the engine and see if it helps.
We need more info then what you have given to help you much with this.

Yes it idles smooth, starts good, just when moving or turning it starts to bog down and want to stall out. I see what you mean about the levers pushed full foward. im going to try the rubber fuel line comming out of the tank, saw it looks like it might be pinched and weak from opening and closeing the back door. I hope so. also saw a little spring off by the carb just hanging there, but didnt see where it might attach to, maybe choke?

well just got around to looking at it again, did a compression test on cylinders, and drivers side is dead, piston not moving. so time to pull motor out and hope for the best. wheres the best place to get parts, napa or right at new holland, or are they crazy with prices there. its the 18 hp gas ohlin engine?

Onan is no longer building engines except for gen sets. However, you still have two options to repower your machine. Tulsa Engines may still have a new one in stock, http://www.tulsaenginewarehouse.com/ , or check Ebay for John Deere 318 or 420 lawn tractors. Lots of used 18 and 20 hp engines listed there.
