Have a 2007 c190 that i am trying to remove the lift arm cylinder to take and get a seal replaced. Top pin is removed, hoses are off, bolt that runs through the cab (by the steering handles) is out. I am struggling getting the lower pin out after i removed the bolt. Is there a trick? is the pin threaded? or do you just tap it out from the inside.? Thanks

The pin is a tapered pin in a tapered hole, The way to remove the pin is to hit on the shoulder of the pin to loosen it. Not as easy as it might sound because the pin is tight in the hole. I usually just rebuild the cylinders in place on the loader. Lock up the boom. Sit in the seat and fasten the seat belt and turn the key to the on position. Press the boom pedal into the detent position. Turn key off and exit loader. Remove top pin and now you can push the rod in to get it out of the loader frame on top. Lower the cylinder and block up off the fender. Remove the nut on the end of the cylinder and then you can pull the clyinder rod out for rebuilding.
