So I have a L553 that is giving some grief, as it won't turn over. I turn the key and nothing. So I put it in service mode to bypass the seat belt and still no go. I am not sure where to start with this thing. The boom is down so I really can't get to anything in the engine bay.

Does it click when you turn the key and do the lights come on ? It is not a fun job but you can reach in and hook jumpers up to the battery if you think the battery is dead

I hooked my truck up to and still does not nothing. It is more a electrical switch issue, and I am not that familiar with these units. Any idea where to get a service manual?

I would look at the safety switches on the seat, seat belt and the bar if there

Look at all fuses and relays........ebay has a service manual for forty bucks
I have had the wire pull off my seat switch and it did the same thing. On that wire there is a short wire from the switch then a connector to the wire harness. Check the connector to make sure they are not bad. I would check the wire to the starter to make sure it did not come off at the starter. Do you have a trac and loader to lift the arms?

The temperature right now is below zero so I am going to wait until this weekend to take a look at it. I do not have anyway to lift the arms.
