My New Holland L160 has been running fine, but the other day I started it up, and it wouldn't get out of park. The seatbelt switch and the seat switches both work (at least they register on the HUD when I sit down and buckle up). I opened up the seatbelt and pulled the switch out, which I can manually depress (there is an audible click in the cab when I press it). I did get the machine out of park one time by manually pressing the seatbelt switch, but no longer. I'm wondering for both seatbelt and seat switch, if there's some short maybe in the wires that are preventing the switches from sending signal to the machine?

I also just replaced the hydraulic filter, which had rust on the end and was actually leaking. I get no hydraulic pressure warnings in the cab, but I'm wondering if the leak caused low hydraulic pressure, which I gather can engage the park brake? Any help would be seriously appreciated, I'm in a spot where it's hard to get a mechanic to visit,

If it clicks when you sit in the seat that switch is working. Is the boom locked out too? Get a jumper wire for the seat belt plug on the harness. Sit in the seat and jump the seat belt out. See if it unlocks. Those switches go bad, and theharness can be bad too. Check both.let us know
