we replaced that, pumped on the sump...still pouring diesel into crank case. Did that today.Don't know about the Deere engine but on most diesel engines when this happens it's the fuel lift pump that's leaking into the crankcase.
If you listen closely, you have a dead miss. One of the unit injector pumps locked up. The cam forced it up and broke its clamp. Fuel runs threw bores in the block. Call the dealer. It is very exacting to time the pumps after repair or it will not run right. Hopefully your lucky and the bore in the block didn't get damaged, or the block is junk.we replaced that, pumped on the sump...still pouring diesel into crank case. Did that today.
