Is there a reason why a Bobcat 811 backhoe can't be used on a Bobcat 853?

I have a Bobcat 753 and an 853 skidsteer. Is there some reason that the Bobcat 811 backhoe attachment can't be used on the Bobcat 753 skidsteer, assuming that I can come up with a mounting bracket which will fit? Also, can I use it on an ASV 4810 skidsteer?

I ran a 811 on an 853 for a while. Never had any problems but it might be a bit heavy for a 753. The 853 had its back wheels in the air on a regular basis. When I tried to get 811 mounting hardware for my S185 I was informed by my local dealer that an 811 was too heavy to run on a S185 and that mounting hardware didn't exist. I fabricated my own and I haven't had any problems.

Thanks. I've been told that the brackets on my 853 are for a 709 backhoe, instead of my 811 backhoe. Thinking of using the 811 with my ASV 4810. Will have to fabricate some brackets.

Hey kernite would you be willing to send me pictures of your brackets? I'm trying to do the same. Would like to make it work.

Tgrumm: Just wanted to bring to your attention that the post you are responding to is 11 years old, and that kermode has not logged into the forum since 2012. I doubt very much that you will get a response.
