Does any know the thread size of the hydraulic sight glass for my 642B? If it happened to be a pipe thread or another standard thread it would facilitate using a generic standard sight glass for replacement. My old machine doesn't warrant a $50.00 replacement if a $5.00 unit for an air compressor would work. I don't need a floating ball or an OEM style unit, just something that will allow me to see the oil in the tank! I think the 642 and most of the older Bobcats used the same part number, also, so that might help.
