No manual is needed.
With the engine out, remove the bolt in the end of the splined shaft on the pump. Get a gear puller and tighten it up trying to pull the splined part off. You may need to give the pushing bolt on the puller a sharp hit with a hammer to get the taper to let go. When its off, remove the snap ring that is in the pump housing. Now you will see all of the seal. Drill a hole in the bottom of it, don't push in too far. Using a self tapping screw, plug the hole and use pliers to pull the seal out.
Slide the new seal into place slowly tapping it in. When its far enough in to put the C clip back in do so. Tap the C clip slowly pushing it and the seal into place. When its located the ring will snap into place. This will keep the seal square in the housing.
When the seal comes oit, oil will come out too, not really fast, but fast enough to make a mess and fast. Have the new seal ready to go before you drill the hole and remove the seal.
Does that make sense?
