Don't forget to buy the animal 'safe' type, not my error but, lost a great lab because some low life left it out.Its not so much hours but years. The best way is to check the colour, it should be a nice green or yellow colour depending on the make. If it goes brown its time to change. Coolant is so cheap it really wouldn't hurt to swap it out every year or two.
Of in doubt, change it!
Thanks, I picked up three gallons this morning at the dealer. It has gone up to $16.00 per gallon. I am trying to locate a PG antifreeze tester. The guys at the autoparts stores look at me like I am crazy for asking.Don't forget to buy the animal 'safe' type, not my error but, lost a great lab because some low life left it out.
