Thanks to Ken's detailed photos in a post last year I have finally finished installing a backup alarm on my 743. The alarm and switches are the same as Bobcat but the switch mounting bracket and sliding blocks are my own design. So far it is working great.

Great job. This a project I have to tackle soon. Did you buy the switches from Bobcat or where did you get them?
The switches are just standard "short hinge roller lever " type micros available from Omron and many other manufacturers ( Omron P/No: Z-15GW22-B). The actual alarm is an Ecco model 530. None of the parts I used came from Bobcat.
