Hi Everyone. Im new to the forum and need some help with my skid steer. I have acquired a little Bobcat 443 skid steer loader with a kubota D750 engine. It was purchased as a project, but not knowing much about them I thought it could be something small that could be fixed. So by doing some research i found it was missing the hydraulic pump. Both drive and hydraulic pump. Unfortunately it is almost impossible to find a pump for it. I have come across a few but with the price tag, i could buy a new machine. I bought a manual to aid me in the replacement of the wheelbearings, seals and chains. I also found a diagram of the hydraulic flow. My questions are, Is the two hydrostatic pumps (Drive motion pumps) actually pumps? Because in the diagram they are fed by the third (gear) pump on the end of the assembly. I am assuming all they do is control direction of the flow? Is it possible that only one gear pump can be used and two, two direction valves be used for the drive motors? Any input is gladly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The drive pumps are pumps, not control valves. The third pump is used for lift/tilt it also supplies charge pressure to the drive pumps.
Some times, you can sand out the wear in the drive pumps with a sheet of glass and wet and dry sand paper. I don't know if the 443 has a wear plate in the pump that can be replaced or sanded down or not though.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. The machine came without the pumps. I Guess I'll have to look out for one. Is there anyone or any places recommend that I could check? In South Africa parts for these machines are so scarce. and bobcat wants half the price of a new S150 for a pump.

I can't think of anywhere that would have a pump at a good price.... Even loader parts source would be a lot, as they repair cores, you have no core to re-condition, so they will have to charge for that.
The only place i can recommend is ebay, hopefully something will come up at a good price.
