Hello, anyone have experience with non-hydraulic tiller attachments?

I'm thinking about this one here: http://www.rootgrapple.com/tiller.html and emailed them for a video clip of it in operation. They haven't made a video of it, but said it weighs about 500 pounds. Is the hydraulic tiller so much superior to what is essentially a harrow? Any feedback is appreciated..

It looks like nothing more than a sub soiler, I don't know that it is worth as much as they are asking for them though.

I'd call that a scarafier or a ripper. It would loosen hard soil but would not break it down like a rotary tiller would.
Erskine has a nice rotary out now with dual motors for more torque but they are @ $3500
