Looking for some advice.
I have a chance to buy a set of Grouser tracks for my 743. $900 CAD. Look like the newer E or F series based on pics.

I am not sure I want Grousers vs others (Loegering or TracksPlus). Seems like Grousers are more traction, but less floatation than others.
I also am not sure I will get enough use from them in the foreseeable future, as this is just a personal machine. Could have used them last month though. :(

Anybody care to offer advice?
Thanks,
...karl

I have a set of Grouser bar tracks and a set of Loegering F series for my 453. You are correct the Grouser's have more traction, they also weight a lot more than the Loegering's. I use the Grouser's when I'm in the woods moving and loading logs for firewood. The loegering's I use when I'm working in soft area's that I need just a little more traction in.

Hey Karl. You sound like me, a little conflicted over getting different attachments. If it allows you to do something that you couldn't otherwise do such as OM obtaining logs in the woods(cost benefit) or to prevent you from getting stuck(cost and aggravation prevention benefit) then I would get them. But if its just a good deal, these seem to come up quite often and will likely come along again.
