will a Kubota V2203 motor fit in a Gehl SL5625?? a buddy of mine has a blow up motor in his Gehl SL5625, and i have a v2203. i know the blown motor is a Perkins 56 hp. any help would be awesome thanks!!

I'd think you could make it fit, the Kubota will be about 10hp short of the Perkins one though. They generally run about 46HP
I'd doubt it would be a drop in swap over though.

thanks for the info man!!! i wonder how hard it would be to make it work, or would it be worth it. the V2203 that i got is in great shape and i only paid $1300 for it, (i want to sell it) if it would be cheaper to make mine fit instead of buying a new perkins

Your best bet would be to sit the engines side by side and see how the mounting locations line up.
Anything can be done with time and some thought. Not sure what a running perkins would run you, but i'd bet more than the Kubota cost you.
