I have a 4625 Gehl ----lately it will not always click the start light on after the glow plugs cycle. It will not crank the engine at all . Turning the key to start does nothing....dead.
Is this a starter issue or where do i start ?
Thanks for your time

is the battery in good shape? might want to load test it. and start it and check your alt. output voltage. the newer machine are a lot more cridical on voltage correctness to function.

Yes, the battery is very good...thanks for the reply.
After glow plug cycle, you don't hear a click to allow starter to engage.

does it have a lap bar or seat switch that is faulty? some of those had the start circuit pass thru them before the starter solenoid

My 4240 did something like that and it ended up being the door sensor. It moved a fraction of centimeter to make it think the door was ajar and shut down the ability to satart the engine.
