Engine Oil Pressure

I have a 753G with 419 hours. Yesterday the Engine Oil pressure light came on and then the Engine shutdown down, but later would restart. I changed the oil and filter and checked the Relief valve in the oil filter housing. The spring looks like it is worn flat on both ends (not sure if this how it is supposed to be). Could this be causing the relief valve to sticking open or closed? Has anyone had this problem before? Thanks, Dennis

Low oil pressure Denny :-( I'd try a new sender, and then call my dealer if the sender doesn't cure it.
