DIY circle/hole cutter

Some of you guys might like this, I made it after I saw a guy tape a nail to his torch and cut a hole, this one is adjustable and made from simple parts, washers, rod, threaded rod, half round pipe and small piece of flat steel.

I was too lazy a few years back and bought a commercial kit with both the circle adapter and drag adapter to keep the tip a set distance above the cut. Once you get the hang of keeping the hoses up and out of the way and making sure you can turn the entire circle smoothly they can give you a nice accurate cut.

So simple!
I have a roller guide for my oxy set too, i never used the rotten thing! was always easier to cut free hand or the parts i needed to cut were in a hard to reach location.

Tazza, your roller guide, is it for cutting holes or straight line?. I was thinking about making a straight line guide and a pic of yours would be helpful.

Mine was for straight lines or circles by adding a bar and pin. I will try and take pictures of it today.

The option for the circle cutter uses the pin you see, it had a leg that was bent where one of the arms with a wheel fits. sort of like an L
I hope that gives you an idea if what i mean. It works really well to keep the height rite, but i did find cutting painted metal seemed to sort of slide on the soft paint from the heat. It may be just because i didn't use it enough to get used to the operation.
