Clutch Issues

Hey guys if anyone can help me out is would be much appreciated. I have a late 70's OMC1700 and my right side clutches are failing me. I went to John Deer but they no longer sell the disc's. I am wondering if there is any salvage yards out there where a guy could find parts. The next thing I am trying to find is the Quick Attach mounting plate for the machine. Thanks in advance.

Hello I found that some Oliver& White Pto clutches fit it is best to have one out to compare 38$ for new I found used. I use mine daily in a pinch I removed 1 of the 2 cup spring washers between the disks to get by till I found parts, What type of Quick tach are you looking for universal or the old style OMC ( I had to make my own) good luck Bryan

Where did you find the used Disc's, I did find a place in Ohio that makes new Disc's and and the plates between $30 for the disc and $15 for the plates. I am trying to find a Universal adapter so I can put my grapple on it. I had the side panel off but I didn't count the number of clutch disc's, do you remember how many there are? Hello sorry I didn't get back to you sooner 30 $ for the disks is a good price I think that there is 7 or 8 of them I don't think that the plates wear very much mine don't show any wear that I remember, I just stopped by my local massey dealer and he had some from a pto he had replaced. (oliver or White tractor) good luck Bryan
