Case skid steer loader help

I have a 2005 Case 410 skid steer that I replaced the engine and have been using it on the farm. It's been a great little machine but today as I was plowing snow the loader quit working. I can tilt the bucket either way and the skid steer will move but the loader will not raise or lower. There is a manual bypass cable in the cab that I can pull up and the loader will operate normally but if I stop pulling the cable the loader will not work. I used a pair of vise grips and clamped the cable in the up position and lowered the loader arms and parked in in the shop. Can someone tell me where I should start to find the problem? Wasn't sure if I have a valve problem or where to even start. Thanks

I'm not sure.....the aux hydraulics is controlled by a foot lever that goes right and left. Meaning there is no way to just activate the aux controls that I'm aware of. I've only used them one time. I do know when I've bumped the foot control I can hear the pump sound differently so I'm thinking it's something else but I will look into that unless I'm missing something. Thanks for the help

Yes, right stick moves normally. Left stick will not move in or out just forward and backward. The stick feels like it's binding but it's not. After I checked it for binding I pulled up on the bypass cable and it works fine. Really weird to me. But if I release the cable same thing it won't budge

Sound like your aux is stuck they can do some strange things like this ...,...on my cat the right stick back and forth is aux hydro left stick just goes front and back

You can put a hose from one aux coupler to the other till you get it unstuck

Ok, thanks for the guidance. Is the aux hyd valve just need removed and cleaned or you thinking replaced?

Can't see it from here but think a cleaning would be a good start am thinking you bumed it getting in or out

If you needed to pull the manual release for the arm hydraulic lockout to lower the boom I'm guessing the coil that runs the lockout electrically is fried. To access the safety lockouts, just tilt the cab forward and locate the spools for the arms and bucket on the right side of the machine. The lockouts will be on the front of the spools on the top side. If the aux hydraulics were somehow engaged the machine would act as though it had no power.
