I recently purchased a Case 1838 that was leaking hydraulic fluid from the pump. Figured it was just a bad o-ring, but it turned out that it has a crack in the threads of the hydraulic gear pump. Does anyone know what brand of pump this is? Trying to find out the brand to see if it is possible to just buy a new housing, but the id tag is missing from the pump. Also how can you tell what year it is? I know its a newer model because of the gray paint on the cab, but they guy we got it from wasn't sure what year it was. Thanks for looking and any help!
