Bobcat list their bucket capacity as "struck capacity". What is that exactly? I have a 88" light material bucket and would like to know about how much mulch i am moving with it. I'm guessing around 1 1/2 yards. Any comments.

I have an old Bobcat Bucket brochure. It lists the capacities in "SAE Heaped Capacity".
The 80" Light Material Bucket had a Heaped capacity of 29.7 cubic feet (1.1 yards).
The 90" Light Material Bucket had a Heaped capacity of 32.4 cubic feet (1.2 yards).
From the CAT website: "The industry standard is heaped capacity. This method assumes material will heap in a bucket at a two-to-one slope. It is a fair predictor of the amount of material a bucket will hold. Larger wheel loaders will carry more than SAE heaped capacity in many materials."
