Bobcat 763 BICS module NO power ?

I have been tinkering with this 1999 763 F series I bought. The motor runs strong. The machine has 806 hours on it but they let the machine sit out. Somone earlier said the machine was an older BOSS model but it also has BICS. The digital guage read out says BOSS but the module mounted on the rear of the cab behind the seat is a BICS module.
Here is the run down. I tried to move the loader and get nothing. I can move a little forward and the machine will kill if I try to back up. The boom moves very little along with the bucket but maybe an inch or so either way. I can hear the hydraulics trying but it just will not move.
Tazza helped me figure out that it had to be something with the BICS system locking out the hydraulics and steering. When I found the module none of the indicator lights will come on including the power light.
I removed the seat but did not see any wires, magnet or sensor under the seat when I removed it. So I dont think this unit has a seat sensor unless I'm just not seeing it.
I checked the fuses on the back of the machine in the engine compartment and all seem to be ok. Any ideas?

Oh I did try to place a good relay in the Switch spot in the relay block mounted above the battery and under the air filter box. I still did not get a power indicator on the BICS module. The relays on the relay box do not appear corssed up but there is no telling what the previous owner may have done so they may be crossed up and not in the correct spot as indicated.
My next step is to see if anyone can tell me what pins or wires should ahve power so I can use a test light to see if I'm getting power to the harness at the module so if anyone knows please let me know.

One more added thing. The green traction overide button located by the ignition switch has no power and gives no response when pushed.

I also called our local Bobcat dealer who said to buy the module itself if its bad is more expensive than buying a complete kit that comes withthe module, new traction over ride button and manual. Total cost on the kit he said was $217.00USD.
I will not be able to fool with this until tomorrow so we shall see. I will post back how it turns out.

Exactly, the BICS is just a safety device for the operator. The BOSS is for the engine/hydraulics.
The BICS controls the brake and hydraulic lock outs. The aux hydraulics should eb controled by another box that is mounted to the frame.
See if i can access my home pc and send the wiring diagram to you.

Ok so I got some time to fool with my 763 this morning. All is working! The other night I checked the fuses by sight and all seemed ok but it came down to a blown fuse.

For future readers here is what I did. I dont know if this is the right way orif it is even safe. For all I know you could kill or injure yourself or case daage to your machine.
I found it almost impossible to get the wiring harness out of the BICS module shown above where the harness plugs into the BICS module. I lifted the cab and on the underside is the boltstat hold the BICS module to the cab. I used a ratchet and an 11mm socket and removed the top bolt and only losened the bottom two. I slid the BICS module up and pulled it out. Now the black box shown in the pic is a cover. Th module is screwed with phillips head screws to the cover. You can remove the harness from the module without unscrewing the module from the cover however if it is your module itself that needs to be replaced then you will need to remove it from the cover.
You will notice an orange wire on the harness. It is an outer wire of the bunch. Using a test light I clipped the alligator clip to the mounting spring bolts for the drop bar on the cab and used it as ground. I then pushed the test light pic to the socket for the orange wire in the harness. I got no power. I then tested each pin on the harness plug and non of them had power. I then got out and took my test light to the rear fuse panels located to the lower left of the radiator overflow bottle in the engine compartment. The fuse blocks look like relays and are held on by steel clips. The black plastic boxes that look like relays are only covers and have fuses when you remove the cover. I checked all fuses with my test light testing both sides of the fuse for power. On a 10A fuse I only had power on one side. By sight is looked ok but was blown as it had some corrosion on it and tested as blown without power to one side. I replaced the fuse.
Since I had the BICS module pulled at this point already I figured I would test the harness again that plugs into the BICS module. I tested every pin socket and the only one that is powered was the one that went to the orange wire. But at least this time it had power. I reconncted the BICS module and tightened the bolts to secure it to the cab.
I then lowered the cab and started the machine. All power lights showed up on the BICS module. My Boom, Bucket and wheels all operate now. The operaton is quite smooth I might add.
I did not test to see if everything powered with th key off so when I tested it I had the key in the on position withou the motor running. I have read you have to check for power with the key on as it cuts power at the ignition whe the key is off.

I remember my BICS box being a swine to get the connector out too. I had to remove the box to get access to pull the connector out, but it worked.
The fuses can be a real pain, especially the corrosion they get in the holders, they aren't water tight.

DIELECTRIC GREASE BOYS,if you unplug one put it on not just the pins but the coonector itself. easy stuff headaches down the road gone, once harness poked and prodded, intergrity in question. go from pin to pin if if poked and prodded, for instance a 5 strAnd coumaction wire. test light broke three ohm check ok but wont carrya load. is alomost impossible to find. pin to pin not poke. once hacked only viable t/s i is replacement and start from scratch,763 bics easy stuff. push to operate kit, boss gets diffuclt. only option is to bring back to factory spec.(at times all the saftey features seem stupid, that is untill you have to help fire dept extract 18 yr old from unit, keep it safe,(to reiterate. make no mistake these will hurt you in a ny second).

Remarkable discussion! I have a 763 working generally well but the BICS controller power light is now not coming on, or any light on the module so no functions, no movement. Engine starts, instrument gauges work. I carefully checked all fuses including the BICS one. All good.
I checked the hot post of the BICs fuse holder with a meter and it get voltage when I turn the ignition key on. I am thinking it may be a poor ground at the module. Does anyone know how to check this, like where precisely is the module grounded? I haven't seen any ground wires leading from the module. I would really appreciate guidance on solving this. Love the machine and using it! Thanks!

Hi guys I'm having the same issue no power to the BICS the orange wire has power but unit is not lit up I'm assuming the unit is cooked but wondering if I could get som diagrams to so I can do a bit more testing thanks
