Bobcat 700 vs 720

Hi everyone, Went to look at a Bobcat today, but I couldn't tell if it was a 700 or 720... It had decals that said both on it, and the serial number tag is missing... It has 6 bolt rims and the gentleman has a 722 there as well, it has 8 bolt rims so I'm leaning more towards this one being a 700... Would the cab and lift arms off of a 722 fit a 700? What else would interchange? Thanks!

700, 720, 721 and 722 are all the same chassis with different engines.
700 and 720 are air cooled Wisconsin gas early models had 6 bolt wheels
721 air cooled Deutz diesel
722 Water cooled Ford gas

6 bolt wheels would indicate a 600/610/611. The engine will be the key. The 600 has a Wisconsin VG4D V4 gas engine, the 610 has a Wisconsin VH4D V4 gas engine, and the 611 has a Deutz F2L411 2 cylinder diesel.
Also, the 600 and 610 are clutch machines, the 700/720/721/722's are all hydrostatic drive machines.
The frames used by all of these machines are very similar. The booms could quite possibly interchange.

Thanks for the info so far guys. Definitely not a 600/610, it's hydrostatic and has the VH4D Wisconsin in it... I'll try to post some pictures. I'm still on the fence about it, it has apparently spun a bearing in the engine so I'd have to rebuild it... The fellow selling says it's easy to push around without the engine running, I didn't think you'd be able to push a hydro machine around easily, or are the first generation hydrostatic machines different? I know my 732 is pretty much near impossible to move without the engine running...

I've skimmed thru the parts diagrams for the 700 and 720 but haven't found what the difference is.
The decal section of the diagrams shows a machine with M-700 and 720 on it just like your pictures.

Thanks OldMachinist! I'm still undecided on it, not sure if I have the time for another project... What is the general consensus on these early hydrostatic machines? I have lots of time on a 732 both running it and tinkering on it, the pumps on this thing look quite different from the 732... The owner tells me this thing can be rolled around easily with a quad without the engine running, no way you could do that with the 732... Is this normal for this machine? Sorry about all the questions...

My 700 will roll fairly easy with the engine off, you can't use it as an anchor point. Not sure if it's just something worn excessively or if it's normal for this type. Mine also has the 8 lug axles.
