How to remove Bobcat Clark 700 battery

I work at a library and had a customer come in asking if we could help him figure out how to get the battery out of his Bobcat Clark 700 skid steer. I cannot find a free manual that would have the steps he needs so I figured a forum would be helpful. The customer states the battery is located right up against the back of the seat (left side of machine) and the engine is in front of the battery ( I have no idea if that's right) and he believes that he needs to remove the engine in order to replace the battery. I would like to believe there is an easier way for him to go about this, so here I am asking for anyone's advice. If anyone has information on how to remove/replace the battery I would greatly appreciate if you could let me know!

I'm not familiar with that particular model but the battery may be accessible by lifting the cab.
